Now Hiring - Customer Service and Sales Associate in Saratoga, CA

We are looking for a Customer Service Rep/Sales Associate with 1-2 years experience in retail/customer service environment who enjoy working with people. Location is in the heart of Saratoga, CA. Saratoga is a quaint, quiet and clean small town in the South Bay Area between near Santa Clara. The residents are very kind and often repeat customers. It is very important to maintain good relationships with our customers and community.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivers outstanding customer service to customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers and team members
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, and alternative solutions
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes accurately.
• Record all sales transactions completely and accurately in Point of Sale system.
• Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products.
• Receive and prepare documents for printing.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of Age and have High School Diploma
• Drivers License
• Reliable, dependable and punctual
• Outgoing individual with excellent customer service skills
• Computer literate
• Be able to multi-task and must have ability to effectively cross-sell in a fast-paced retail environment
• Professional, resourceful, flexible, action oriented, enthusiastic, team player
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Shipping and packaging experience a plus
• Can lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work Saturday and Sunday
• Must be able to pass Department of Justice background check

Preferred (but not required):

• Previous UPS Store or similar retail experience is a plus
• Notary Certification (or willing to obtain within first 6 months; reimbursable training available)
• Experience with copy/print

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (opportunity to grow)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Store hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-6:30pm & Sat/Sun 9am-3:30pm
